RED RIVE FAMILY COMP cassette

more tapes.  i did the cover art and layout for this RED RIVER FAMILY black metal cassette comp a short minute back and was more than happy to recently receive a physical copy.  RED RIVER FAMILY really hit the ground running as far as launching the label, and look to have quite a bit on the horizon.  seemingly mostly within the raw, more straight forward spectrum of black metal.  but this comp definitely has something to cover most tastes within the genre.

stagnant youth

more tapes.  hank just gave me this cassette for his new band STAGNANT YOUTH.  recorded completely analog by hanz zimmerman.  raw and dirty d-beat hardcore stuff.  this one will more than likely end up on my best of 2013 list at the end of the year.  download from their bandcamp page HERE.  not sure how to get a physical copy outside of a show.

BLACK COFFEE "birthdeathbirth" cass

just got these in the mail from CULT CULTURE.  the cassette edition of the second BLACK COFFEE ep, "birthdeathbirth".  complete with limited screen printed slip cover.  i did the design and layout for the 7" vinyl edition from TREATY OAK COLLECTIVE as well, which also has a limited screen printed cover edition available.  just not sure the current status on the vinyl.  listen HERE.  purchase from cult culture HERE.  check up with treaty oak HERE.

HEART FEST poster

just sent off this poster for this year's HEART FEST going on up in canada.  pretty incredible lineup it looks like.  the organizers are having 4 different artists do posters that will be screen printed and available for purchase at the fest.  they've started a TUMBLR with pretty much all the info on the fest you could need.

SOUTHERN BELLE logo

put this together as a logo for fledgling EDM label SOUTHERN BELLE RECORDINGS.  much different 'client' than i'm used to working with, but i'm really excited about the opportunity to branch out.  they emailed me some tracks but otherwise don't have much of a web presence yet.  i'm sure google will have answers when the time comes.

just sent this shirt design over to the guys in IRON HEEL from wein.  should be printed and available for purchase some time early next month.  their first ep of doomy stoner metal is up for download now HERE.

ROT IN HELL 7"

ROT IN HELL wanted to use the same artwork i did for their skateboard with IRON COLUMN for their newest 7" on the resurrected DARK EMPIRE RECORDS.  so i tweaked the art a little to better suit the cover and assembled the rest of the layout as well.  just got a nice package in the mail with all the vinyl color options and test press cover.  i believe the black vinyl is still available.
